The Gold Cup is coming to Detroit

Max: you heard it here first! Two Gold Cup games will be coming to Detroit and I heard it here. But this is very exciting for all soccer fans in the Metro Detroit  and Windsor area and great for the growth of the sport. Just over the summer, AC Milan played Panathinaikos but of course in Italy over the summer. But then again, since I was in Italy, I can't really complain.

The Gold Cup coming to Detroit is fantastic, granted, I really doubt that we are going to get a USA game, but there is great potential for a fantastic environment.
Any game having the USA would have a decent crowd but in my opinion, a game involving Mexico or Canada or even both would provide the best atmosphere. We are right near Windsor and for those that don't know Detroit, we have a sizable Mexican population on the south-west side of the city.

But who ever plays at Ford Field in June, I sure it will be a fantastic experience.
