First off she’s the best player in NCAA (she is the only college player picked to be on the women’s national team and she doesn’t just sit the bench on the team either, she gets burn). And secondly she’s hot as shit. What is the definition of a stud muffin you ask: a girls college athlete who is hot and good at their sport.

And we’ll be doing our FratHouseSports All-Hot Soccer First & Second Team over the weekend, which consist of photo galleries of 10-30 of the hottest girls in all of college soccer…so yeah stay tuned!

U.S. Women win Under-20 World Cup

North Korea showed plenty of determination and ability, but the U.S. Under-20 women's national team was the better squad on Sunday, finished its chances and played well enough defensively to make their two goals stand up as tournament stars Sydney Leroux and Alex Morgan scored first-half goals to lead the United States to a 2-1 win in the Under-20 women's World Cup final on Sunday in Chile.

Leroux gave the Americans a lead in the 23rd minute on a clinical finish from 18 yards out. Morgan, the best player on the field all game, delivered a goal of the tournament candidate when she ran through the North Korea defense before blasting a left-footed shot into the top left corner of goal to give the Americans a 2-0 lead they never relinquished.

North Korea notched a consolation goal in second-half stoppage time, but the Americans held on to gain some revenge for the U-17 World Cup final loss to North Korea just last month.

What did you think of the U.S. team's performance? Were you as impressed by Morgan's skills as I was? Do you think Morgan and Leroux will soon be dominating on the senior women's national team level?

Share your thoughts on today's Under-20 women's World Cup final in the comments section below.

For the past week or so, she’s been America’s collective crush. And when she scored the goal that put the USA up 1-0 over Japan in the World Cup Final, she became a household name. Unfortunately, we lost that match on penalty kicks. Had we won, then a new star would have truly been born yesterday.

Alex Morgan, the youngest member of the U.S. World Cup Soccer Team, will be featured in the upcoming October issue of Seventeen magazine. And The Sports Bank has acquired an excerpt for you.

Quotes courtesy of Seventeen

17: How about after a loss? What advice do you have for girls on what you do to pick yourself up after a bad game?

Alex Morgan: I mean I think it’s important to review the game and see what created the loss, but at the same time after you do have that moment of trying to figure out what happened, then you need to move on from that moment.

17: Do you give yourself a certain amount of time to think about the game?

Alex Morgan: Yeah, I think that especially with a team sport, we’ll go over video sand talk about the game, probably the day after, two days after, and then after that we’ll move on, because we have another competition coming up, and you need to prepare for that. I mean something I also do is surround myself with my family members, because they’re always the ones that will help you with your confidence, and going to say the right things when it matters.

Morgan, who also played for the Golden Bears, plays for the Western New York Flash, but recently rose to stardom after scoring clutch goals to help the U.S. Women make it to the Women's World Cup Final.

Carrasco and Morgan make their long distance relationship work since they both have similar schedules and typically talk on the phone during their down time, according to The Seattle Sounders.

Did you just watch the U-20 Women’s World Cup final on ESPN today? Cause I dunno who the announcer was but that guy certainly had his panties in a bunch all over Alex Morgan. During the first half, he flat out said she was the best player on the US side. Then, after she scored her – admittedly – brazilliant goal (if I can find a video, I’ll post it), he slipped in the comment: “all the superlatives in the world do not do Alex Morganjustice.” Well, I guess it was a very nice goal. But seriously, much praise goes out to Morgan for spicing up the US offense a bit. For a while there, the game saw a little bit more than “kick ball long and hope it finds Lone Leroux.” So congrats to Leroux & Morgan for scoring. Congrats to Leroux for winning the Golden Boot. So… uh… I guess my complaints about the US offense are kind of moot since they hella won with it. Oh and congrats to the US for winning another U-20 World Cup. But the final congrats go out to the North Korean team for managing to all coordinate wearing matching haircuts.
